My name is Sarah Anderson and I am so excited to begin our year at James A. Webster Elementary School. I am very passionate about working to eliminate learning barriers for students from all different cultures and backgrounds.<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0My role is to develop, implement and manage the school counseling program for our school. \u00a0I advocate and emphasize the importance of acknowledging, understanding and supporting each child\u2019s unique needs in order to provide each student with equal access to academic, social\/emotional, and career opportunities and support. This is accomplished by collaborating and consulting with parents, teachers, administration, and outside agencies etc.<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">My primary responsibility is to promote the academic, social\/emotional and career development programs for all students. Below is a list of my responsibilities to your children.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Small group and individual counseling<\/li>\n<li>Classroom lessons<\/li>\n<li>Crisis Intervention<\/li>\n<li>504 plan development and management<\/li>\n<li>English Language Learner Plan management<\/li>\n<li>Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) team member<\/li>\n<li>Referrals to outside agencies<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate support for families in need (food, clothing, housing, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Contact Information:<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Sarah Anderson M.Ed.
