Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO)
Come, join the PTO and make a difference for our students!
The PTO is an active group of volunteers who provide support to the students and teachers in a variety of ways. The PTO sponsors field trips, movie nights, dances, festivals, spirit nights at local restaurants, purchases equipment and more. Box top collection is another way to support the school. The school store sells spirit items and provides students with a small business experience.
Any parent, guardian or teacher may be a member and have voting rights. Membership is $10 per year and is greatly appreciated. So far this school year over 30 of our staff have joined the PTO! Staff paid $15.00 for membership and our cool new PTO tie-dye shirt.
Meetings are held once a month in conjunction with the School Advisory Committee meetings – Thursdays at 5:00 – 5:30 p.m.
The purposes of The Webster School PTO are:
- to enhance and support the educational experience,
- develop a closer connection between school and home,
- encourage parent involvement, and
- improve the environment at the school through volunteer and financial support.
